Installation of pre-cured waterproofing membrane over graded soil and cured concrete slab and walls with connecting the two waterproofing membranes. Protection layer is added.
This can be done on vertical or horizontal surface with a single or multiple coats of fluid applied membrane using notched squeegee, roller nap, brush or spray-on to specified thickness and a protection layer placed on top.
Another version of fluid-applied waterproofing system heated in a kettle then rolled/squeegeed out over a horizontal substrate, typically on plaza areas, pool decks and elevated garden court yards. We can also add concrete paver systems to create walkways and usable space.
Either pedestrian and/or vehicular grade options with 1-2 added layers. Multi-coat system applied by notched squeegee’s that has a non-slip aggregate broadcast in the layers. Usually seen on parking decks and/or lower bowl areas at stadiums.
Typically focus on joint caulking utilize mineral wool insulation as a joint filler/backer, gun or spray caulk over the area and tool smooth. TCM has attained higher certification as an FM4991 approved contractor that requires continuing education and testing to keep us knowledgeable and to better serve our clients.
Either roller and/or spray application over vertical face of cavity walls of buildings creating a watertight seal over the envelope of the building including at the roof line. Typically a fluid-applied application however there are some projects that specify a precured membrane product is used to accomplish the same tie-ins.
Building façade joints, slab joints, decorative façade components, dissimilar materials, etc. are all items typical to this application. We install foam backer-rod recessed into the joint, shoot the caulk over the area, tool the caulk to provide a final finish. Proper tooling of sealant allows for anticipated elongation of the joint to be attained.
Installation of a premade joint system, typically metal, into the opening that bridges a gap while also allowing movement of any type of structure.
